Privacy & Data Handling – WooCommerce Plugin

TraiOn.me for WooCommerce adds a virtual try-on experience to your product and cart pages using AI.

What the Plugin Does

The plugin:

• Sends selected product details (images, SKUs, variants) to TraiOn.me servers.
• Allows customers to upload a photo and receive an AI-generated try-on image.
• Optionally reports anonymized or aggregated analytics back to the merchant (e.g., number of try-ons, top products).

Data Collected via the Plugin

From the merchant store:

• Site URL and technical identifiers
• Product and variant metadata
• (Optionally) basic order event data for conversion analysis

From end customers:

• Uploaded photos used for try-on
• Generated AI try-on images
• IP address, browser/device meta-information
• In-widget feedback (e.g., like/dislike)

We do not process or store customers' payment card details.

Retention and Deletion

• End customer images and AI outputs are retained only for short operational windows and are automatically deleted within 24 hours, unless a shorter retention is configured or longer retention is required by law.
• Logs and technical data are retained in line with our Privacy Policy (typically 12–24 months in anonymized or pseudonymized form).

Legal Roles

• The WooCommerce store owner is the data controller.
• TraiOn.me is the data processor, processing customer data solely under the store owner's instructions and Applicable Data Protection Law.

A full Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available and deemed accepted by installing and using the plugin.

GDPR & International Transfers

For EU/EEA and UK users:

• TraiOn.me implements appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers (e.g., SCCs) where required.
• Store owners are responsible for providing appropriate information and obtaining valid consent from end users for the use of TraiOn.me on their sites.

Security

We apply:

• HTTPS/TLS encryption
• Access controls and logging
• Content moderation and abuse reduction
• Short retention windows for sensitive image data

How to Remove Data

If you deactivate and delete the plugin:

• TraiOn.me stops receiving new data from your WooCommerce store.
• Remaining personal data is deleted or anonymized based on our retention schedules, except where required for billing or security logs.
